Novi is one of the youngest housing markets we serve. Half of Novi's homes were built after 1993, and the 2010s alone added 15 percent of today's housing, in Census Bureau survey data.

The City of Novi holds Light the Lights on Friday, November 20, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Twelve Mile Crossing at Fountain Walk, with fireworks and the tree lighting at 7. It's the night the city's holiday season starts. Book your Christmas light installation in October and your own house can be glowing when you drive home from it.

The newer subdivisions, and Island Lake
Island Lake of Novi went up from 2001 to 2012 on the shores of a 170-acre lake, and houses on its shoreline show two rooflines: one to the street and one to the far side of the lake.
