How to judge a before and after
Check first that the camera didn't move. A pair shot from two spots, or in two different lights, does some of the work the cleaning should be doing. Morning shade against afternoon sun makes any surface look better.
Then look for evenness. Clean concrete lightens corner to corner with no stripes. Zebra stripes on a driveway mean a hand wand was used where a surface cleaner belonged, and they don't wash out later, because the texture of the slab has changed. Siding should match from one end of the wall to the other, north side included, since that's the side that greens up first here and the one that gets skipped.
On glass, look at the edges. Anyone can make the middle of a pane look clean in a photo, so check the frame line, the corners of the sash and the bottom track. Be wary of an after shot where years of sprinkler spotting has vanished from a lower pane. Minerals baked on over a few summers can etch the glass, etched glass can only be replaced, and a good company tells you that before it quotes.
Photos from around here should look like around here: salt film on the bottom of a storm door in March, wet maple and oak leaves packed into a gutter in November, an arched window over a two-story foyer that nobody has reached since the house was built. A gallery with none of that in it wasn't shot here.
The jobs in these photos come from seven services, all run out of Northville: residential window cleaning inside and out, commercial window cleaning on a set schedule, new construction window cleaning for new homes and buildings, pressure washing and soft washing, gutter cleaning, Christmas light installation and chandelier cleaning, across Northville, Novi, Plymouth, Canton, Livonia, Commerce Township, West Bloomfield, Farmington Hills, Bloomfield Hills and Birmingham. Customers say it better than we do on the reviews page.
